I’m a thirty-something keyboard jockey living in southern New Mexico. I specialize in systems integration and love my job and computers in general. I’ve been married since 2003 and my son was born in May of 2008 and he’s been the greatest and most amazing thing that I have had the pleasure to experience. I tend to lean to the right, I’m very fiscally conservative, on social issues I’m closer to libertarian, I also believe we have too much government, so I fit with them there as well. I believe that you own your body and no one should tell you how to live. I am a gun nut, meaning I am nuts about guns, not that I would kill anyone in a rage. I firmly believe in the second amendment and to those neigh sayers who claim that we don’t need firearms to overthrow the government anymore, and hunting is not needed I say move to Europe. I want the ability to, and fully exercise my right to bear arms and not just shotguns or rifles, but hardware that will allow me to compete with any equipped military combatant wether from our country or another. That said I have faith and believe in this country but many things coming to pass recently have made me think that not just our second amendment right to bear arms is in jeopardy, but all the basic rights of the constitution. Aside from that, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting. I am an avid music lover, with my favorite band being TOOL but I don’t pigeonhole myself into one genre or type of music, I like a lot (except country/western). I love movies, and books as well, and of course computers. I am a Facebook fanatic, an avid Twitterer and have tried to keep a blog for some time, but due to time constraints I’ve moved from hosting my own 8 IP subnet, including DNS, web and mail hosting for my main domain (azbay.net, my family friendly page) to hosting that domain and the CMS system Drupal (which I have used since the days when I had my own subnet and Linux/FreeBSD hosts) to now, hosting my blog on WordPress.com with a domain, nochiefs.net which will serve as my outlet that’s not necessarily family friendly or something I want my in-laws to read (although they have many of the same beliefs and views, I tend to curse a lot)
At any rate I hope you read some posts, it will take a while to get to where I was as I didn’t backup many of my posts in an easily retrievable form so they’re lost (at least for now) maybe someday they will be resurrected but as they’re no longer relevant I may leave them in the data graveyard (aka Archived!)
