All I have to say right now is FUCK!!! I have an 18 month old. I always wanted to have kids once I found the right girl and I love my son. He’s only 18 months old right now, and yes I know every parent thinks they’re kid is brilliant, but he is seriously smart as fuck. He figures out toys way over his head. He’s not super verbal yet but he’s a MASTER of manipulation. And I don’t mean the typical baby stuff like fits and whatnot (which he of course does as well, but he’s learning quickly that not even that works well and when/where it does work). I’m talking serious study of our actions facial expressions, and learning to exploit any weekness he sees. Maybe I am off here and all kids his age do this but I really don’t think so.

I’ll post more examples but he’s been really pissing me off because I am not always sure when he’s playing me and when he’s sincere. I hope I’m not the father of a sociopath or psychopath but DAMN.

I know this is a vague post but the exact example I wanted to use has slipped my mind as I started it a few days ago. So more to come.
